Green Tea


Green tea is one of the healthiest drinks that you can consume in all ages and health cases. That drink has been known for centuries, exactly like the red and black tea, or the other varieties that Chinese people knew for treating diseases.
The appearance of green tea may vary in its different stages ever since being picked, until being used. The green tea is made from the leaves of a plant that grew only in China; Camellia Sinesis.



Camellia Sinesis was originally planted and known only in China; then became associated with many countries in Asia after the tea was exported and used for its ability to treat diseases. 
Nowadays, and especially in the western part of the world where black tea was the major drink, green tea is one of the most popular and important drinks for its health benefits.
Green tea is used for its antioxidant flavonoids, to slow aging, lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart diseases, help with cholesterol level, relive stress, and reduce the risk of cancer.

All these benefits can be obtained with only 3 to 5 cups of green tea per day. Despite its great taste, some may not like it that much. If you don’t like tea in general, try to have it with breakfast, snacks, or add it to another drink/juice for better taste. You can use the same technique with kids, as they don’t usually like hot drinks.




Another amazing fact about green tea is that you can cool it and drink it without any change in its taste. Some people even prefer the cold green tea as a light drink in hot summer days. It is also available in many forms as a basic ingredient in some foods and beverages, so you can seek one of those products in the markets, if you don’t like raw tea.
