Green Detox Soup

The green detox soup is one of the most nutritious raw soups. The recipe doesn’t need cooking and it contains a variety of leaves and fruits with a touch of flavor in garlic and seasoning. It is a wonderful detox soup and weight loss meal, besides being a very light summer dish.


Ingredients:

2 cups of spinach

1 cup of watercress

1 leaf of kale

½ green apple “or use red or yellow apples if you like them”

1 avocado

½ cup of parsley

1 chopped green onion or chive

¼ sweet red pepper “minced”

1 garlic clove “minced”

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

1 tbsp tamari

1 ½ cups of water

½ tsp dried rosemary

6 basil leaves

½ tsp dried or fresh sage

Salt and a dash of cayenne if desired


Preparation:

Let the avocado and minced sweet pepper aside and mix other ingredients in the blender until fully smoothed.

Add the avocado and mix until you get a creamy soup.

Add more water if you need liquid consistency.

After pouring the soup in the dish, add the sweet pepper and stir with a spoon.
